Falconry Courses
Learn about the husbandry and day to day welfare of Birds of Prey
Four Day Falconry and Hunting Course
These are run from November to February and are aimed at people who wish to take up falconry as a sport; flying and hunting their own Bird of Prey. You will spend three days learning about all the aspects that are involved in keeping and training a Bird of Prey, for hunting as well as looking at other species and their suitability as a falconry bird. At the end of each day hawks will be taken out and flown. The final day will be spent out in the field with one of our team, hunting with a pair of hawks for quarry and putting into practice all the knowledge that you have gained.
Most of the course will take place at our fenland base near Peterborough, apart from the last day which will take place at our one of our suitable hunting sites which will be selected depending on time of year.
The cost of the course is £675.00 per person
